Vinay has a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Natal, Durban. The degree was conferred upon him on the 5^th of April 2003. He was admitted as an attorney on 21^st of June 2004 and thereafter admitted as a conveyancer in 2005. In 2006, he completed the LLM programme at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal with a specialist qualification in Business Law. Vinay has been in practice for his own account since November 2006.

At present he attends to a cross section of conveyancing work including residential, sectional title and commercial transfers, sectional title registers, drafting of property sale agreements, contracts and general practice in the property law field and has extensive experience in commercial litigation.
